ZBoxZ after 0.30a

Many many moons have passed since the release of ZBoxZ 0.30a, with no updates. I (phaethon) intend to pick up continued development of ZBoxZ, primarily to scratch some itches of my own.

Functional changes from ZBoxZ 0.30a

• RawSend fixed to stop sending spurious crap at beginning.
• RawSend fixed to stop doing spurious crap at end.
• Change in Preferences format -- prior settings are forgotten.
• LowBrowse understands "Content-Disposition: ... filename=" field in HTTP headers (for auto-naming Plucker files).
• User can cancel LowBrowse download in mid-stream (Cancel button).
• Rebindable buttons under Prefs (most of them are ineffective...).

Presentational changes from ZBoxZ 0.30a

• Less "flickering effect" by using refresh instead of switching forms back to self.
• Scrollbar can be moved to left side for left-handers (Prefs setting).
• Top line (area used by menu) commandeered as status line (idea from Diddle).
• Scanning and sorting of DBs postponed until after form is drawn (even less flicker effect).
• Fancy-schmancy progress bar drawn on the across-screen bar just under title (on/off in Prefs).

Changes in PiNGer from 0.30a

• Pen-drag to drag image.
• Lower-bpp images don't mess up.
• Color support works (tested on emulated IIIc, m505)
• Spruced up decoding screen (minor eye candy).
• Menus.
• GIF is broken. I don't feel like fixing it.

Things not done

• I don't know if this incorporates the bluetooth support in zbluez.
• READMEs and docs still talk of older versions.
• CapBMP compile process changed, but hack not tested.
• LaunchBox compile process changed, but app not tested.
• No changes to ZCardZ, ZFaxZ, MusicBox, RUnZip, SyncUnZip.

Future Plans

• Prefs for PiNGer.
• Multi-threaded (faked threads) Atache.
• Merge ZCardZ into ZBoxZ.
